Garganuda is the blend of two distinct words: Garganega, a native
grape from Veneto Region, and nuda, which means "naked", in Italian
language.
Andrea Fiorini Carbognin does not come from a family of winemakers, however his grandfather used to make wine for the consumption of his family. Therefore Andrea has always been connected to an
artisanal, authentic idea of wine and, during his path of wine drinker (and wine lover) he started to catch some interference. All those tasted wines seemed to lack their own identity. Andrea was able to find grapes again when he first tasted a biodynamic wine; he felt so impressed that he understood his mission: to restore the real pleasure of his local wine
so he did. He was the first to obtain DOC on his natural, biodynamic Soave wine.
