PURE MERLOT  750ml

Intense garnet red color, deep and complex aroma ranging from tea leaves, tobacco and vanilla. On the palate the wine is warm, full, with a dense and soft tannic structure; high taste-olfactory persistence.

 

VITICULTURE
Grape variety: 100% Merlot

Tufa soil of volcanic origin

Altitude: 250 metres above sea level.

Exposure: south

Form of breeding: two spurs with two or three eyes

Density: 3,400 plants/hectare

Fertilisation: Winter green manure with field beans

Treatments: copper, sulphur (three to six treatments depending on the season)

Yield/hectare in grapes: 50 qt.

Yield / Grape stump: 1.5 kg approx.

 

HARVEST
Merlot 12 September, harvested by hand

VINIFICATION
Temperature-controlled with indigenous yeasts.
